I did my degree at a foreign University, am l eligible for application.
Foreign Accounting Degree holders will be assessed on a case by case basis. We normally look at the courses that you did in your final year to assess whether the degree is eligible.
Does CAA help me to get a place to do my articles?
CAA has a placement program with ICAZ accredited training offices. Whilst we cannot guarantee you a place, you have a greatest chance of articles if you do CTA with us. 90% of our past successful CTA students have secured articles within 6 months.
If l become a CA(Z), is my qualification recognised outside Zimbabwe?
ICAZ has Mutual Recognition Agreements with many countries that allows CA(Z) to be recognised the world over. Over 50% of ICAZ members are practicing outside Zimbabwe as a testament to the acceptability of the qualification outside Zimbabwe.
Can l do the CTA courses/modules one at a time?
In order to be admitted into ITC, you should have passed all four modules in one sitting. Passing in more than one sitting will still give you credit for CTA but you will not be eligible to write ITC

What are your entry requirements for the CTA-Full-time and CTA part-time programs?
For CTA full-time program the entry requirement(s) is the accounting degree, whilst for CTA part-time program the entry requirement(s) is/are a professional course (eg ACCA, CIS and CIMA) or the accounting degree should you opt for part-time program instead of full time.
Can l join CTA Level 2 without doing CTA level 1?
You can, provided that you passed all 3rd year courses in one sitting with no supps from a SAICA accredited university and your degree should not be older than 3 years, Or
If you have attempted CTA L2 and unsuccessful from a SAICA accredited university, Or
If you are a holder of CTA L1 from SAICA accredited university.
What services do you offer?
Our services include offering CTA classes as well as the facilitation of ICAZ board courses ITC (Initial Test of Competence) and APC (Assessment of Professional Competence).
Additionally, we offer other curricula activities e.g. boost fellowship training/soft skills training, sports etc.
What is the cost of your services and payment methods?
The cost of our services varies from year to year and per course(s) (i.e. full-time and part-time) and the cost will be provided on admission.
Our payment methods are bank transfer, cash, swipe/POS (Point of Sale) and Ecocash.
Where are your centres?
Currently our centres are in Harare and Bulawayo.
What are your recruitment processes for articles and are you an ICAZ accredited training office (ATO)?
The minimum entry requirement(s) for admission as an articled clerk at CAA is CTA, and we are an ICAZ ATO (Accredited Training Office).

When does the registration for CTA start?
The application for CTA starts in August and closes in November every year.
Our registration period is between December and January.
