CAA strives to achieve and maintain the highest standards in nurturing Chartered Accountants and thus has increased the number of its full-time lecturers. The CAA prides itself for having the best talent in the country in training chartered accountants. The team is made of highly experienced facilitators of learning and authors of learning material.
Anesu Daka CA (SA)
Anesu has extensive experience in facilitation of learning of chartered accountants. He has been instrumental in the good performance noted in ACCA P2 and ICAZ ZCTA and ITC/FQE 1.
He is a passionate entrepreneur, lecturer and accounting technical advisor to ICAZ, PAAB and various listed companies. He trained with Ernst & Young Inc, South Africa, before joining Ernst & Young Zimbabwe.
He founded CAA in 2011 and he is the principal director and CEO. Anesu has constantly achieved more than 75% in P2 and ICAZ financial accounting courses. He is regarded the IFRS expert of the Zimbabwean accounting profession. (Full-time lecturer and CAA IFRS Consultant)
Elles Mukunyadze CA (Z)
Elles is an accomplished and passionate presenter and trainer in areas of management accounting and financial management. He is a Chartered Accountant qualifying in the Zimbabwe top ten and trained with Ernst & Young Zimbabwe. He also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Theory of Accounting with Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe, B’Compt (Hons) with UNISA and Bachelor of Accounting Degree with University of Zimbabwe.
Currently he is a Director at Chartered Accountants Academy, and also responsible for lecturing Financial Management and Management Accounting for ZCTA, ITC, FQE 2, ACCA P4 and ACCA P5.Driven by passion and strong conviction in all that he does, Elles has managed to impact the lives of many students and professionals through academic lecturing and professional training.
Graham Cheater CA (Z)
Graham Cheater qualified with Deloitte in Harare in 1978 as a chartered accountant CA(Z) and a chartered management accountant ACMA, having made a career switch in 1975 from research economist. Graham has lectured and tutored in financial accounting and financial reporting, auditing and management accounting and managerial finance at various southern African universities.
He lectured in the Department of Accountancy at University of Cape Town before returning to Zimbabwe in 2000 to join PwC (then PricewaterhouseCoopers) in Harare as Technical Manager and Senior Manager, Learning and Education, then becoming Technical Director. He left PwC late in 2010 to commence full-time training of accountants and joined Anesu in establishing the Academy.
Elliot Tawanda Wonenyika CA (Z)
Elliot is the lead lecturer in the CAA tax department and is a Chartered Accountant qualifying in the Zimbabwe top ten.
He served his articles of clerkship with Ernst &Young Zimbabwe where he managed to gain extensive experience in the fields of auditing, financial reporting as well as taxation.
Currently Elliot also holds the role of director with CAA. The driving passion for Elliot is to see the empowerment of Zimbabwean entrepreneurs through training them in technical skills necessary for the effective management of businesses and building relationships even after finishing their studies.
