I am thrilled to share the impressive results of the CTA July 2024 examination, where we achieved an outstanding overall pass rate of 85%. This remarkable success reflects our unwavering commitment to success.
This year, 84 aspiring chartered accountants took on the challenging examination. I am particularly proud of the gender distribution, with 54% of the candidates being female. Our female candidates excelled, achieving an 86% pass rate, surpassing their male counterparts, who attained an 81% pass-
rate. I am also delighted to highlight the success of our bursary program. Every student enrolled in the program passed their exams, aligning perfectly with our vision of providing equal opportunities for all aspiring professionals.
First-time candidates had an impressive 82% pass rate, a testament to our effective teaching methodologies and the dedication of our students. Each module’s pass rates were equally commendable, with all modules surpassing the 50% mark, showcasing exceptional individual course performance.
The University of Zimbabwe (UZ) continues to demonstrate its academic excellence, with six of its candidates ranking among the top 10 performers. This consistent achievement reinforces UZ’s reputation as a leading institution for accounting education in Zimbabwe.
