    • Accounting degree with a degree class 2.2 or better or
    • A complete accounting professional qualification e.g. AGA, ACCA, CGI (formerly CIS)
    • Master’s in accounting or;
      The CAA BCTA qualification or;
      The CAA BSPA
    • Qualification must have been attained within the last 3 years

Introduction

The Zimbabwe Certificate in Theory of Accounting (ZCTA) certification is conferred by ICAZ upon the successful conclusion of the postgraduate ZCTA course. The Certificate in Theory of Accounting (CTA) program encompasses the four key accounting disciplines, which are Financial Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, and Management Accounting and Finance. Passing all four modules in a single examination sitting is required for successfully completing the CTA program and achieving the ICAZ postgraduate Certificate in the Theory of Accounting.
